While working with IFCO, we wanted to bring their story to life by following the journey of a single crate of tomatoes through every stage of their SmartCycle process. Filming across Germany, we visited a fresh produce grower, a warehouse, a store, and finally a crate sanitising and distribution centre. Along the way, we sat down with IFCO to discuss how their circular model for reusable packaging is helping growers and retailers build a more sustainable fresh grocery supply chain. The film captures both the scale of global logistics and the simple, sustainable idea at the heart of IFCO’s mission.
